We all knew that the Knicks’ Nate Robinson was a little out there and this video is more evidence to support the cause as the 2 time NBA Dunk Champion shoots the ball into the wrong basket. The NJ Nets were taking on the NY Knicks in the battle of the NY Metro Area Titans, where both teams entered the game with a combined 2 wins. The setup is that with only 0.5 seconds in the 1st quarter, the Knicks are set to inbounds the ball from the Nets sideline. Nate Robinson gets the ball on the inbounds and spins and shoots the ball at the Nets basket……nothing but net(no pun intended). Luckily time expired, or Robinson would go down in history as perpitrating one of the dumbest plays in NBA history. Everyone in the arena, except for Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni, thought the stunt was funny, as he chews out Robinson as he comes to the bench. That will get you playing time!
