LA Clippers point guard, Baron Davis, has quite a following in the Far East, especially in China.  So much so that he even has his own line of basketball shoes and apparel, the Baron Davis Doom’s from the shoe company Li-Ning.

Baron has always had a flair for the dramatic, even from his days back at UCLA in college.  He is also a natural entertainer, es evidence of his funny youtube videos.  In the videos he usually goes by the nickname, “Boom Dizzle.”  His most recent video we featured here at Hoops Haven, where he sells off his beard, has been going viral all across the web.

Another of his funny videos recently was his spoof on some old 8-bit Nintendo video games where he dribbles through the city of Shanghai, China, collecting points along the way by reaching certain checkpoints.  Of course there’s an alterior motive for the video.  Baron is wearing the newest version of his BD Doom shoes as he dribbles since the video is obviously a promotional tool for promoting his new shoe and clothing line.
